What is a Splatoon OC?

An OC is an original character — somebody you invented who lives in the Splatoon world rather than someone already in it. All 25 on this page are ones people invented, each credited to whoever made them.

How do I make a Splatoon OC?

Describe them in your own words — what they look like, what they wear, what they are like — and they get drawn in seconds. After that you can change one thing at a time and the rest of them stays the same. It is free and there is no limit.

What should I name my Splatoon OC?

The names on this page are the ones their makers chose — Teeth, Teeth, Emily — so read a few for the flavour Splatoon names tend to have. If nothing lands, make the character first; a name is much easier to pick once you can see them.

What makes a good Splatoon OC?

One thing that is theirs alone and everything else consistent with it. The 25 here that people come back to are the ones whose look, story and name all point the same way — not the ones with the longest list of powers.
